Vivaldi winter11/19/2023 Winter is a great demonstration of the effect music can have on the listeners. Dynamic and dangerous, the first movement is nothing short of iconic: pulsing, spikey strings and icy harpsichord accompany. Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (Venice, 4 of March of 1678 Vienna, 28 of 1741 July) was a composer and late Baroque musician, one of the pinnacles of the Baroque, of Western and universal music, his skills are reflected in having laid the concert’s foundations the most important of his time. It is one of the melodies that re-create the actual impression of being carried away by the music. His glacial tribute to winter is the most dramatic of his Four Seasons. Something that visuals show better than anything else. In conclusion, Vivaldi’s Winter is an admirable piece of art overfilled with drama and powerful emotions. The other astonishing video is the one you find below, Antonio Vivaldi’s Winter from his Four Seasons: the crescendo of the violins, the emotional ups and downs, a melody that often presents a perfect geometry and an energy that invests you like a warm ray of sunshine. There are all the big masters: Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Strauss, Schumann, Debussy.Īmong the transpositions that we appreciated most there is the 2nd movement of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and the circular view of Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody. The project is curated by the composer and engineer Stephen Malinowski, his YouTube channel has published dozens of videos where you can “chase with your eyes” a famous music piece. There is a project on Youtube that has been going on for years, followed by hundreds of people, with a noble purpose: to highlight the wonderful symmetries of classical music, transposing the most famous works in a visualized form, through the use of a dedicated software that synchronized visuals and music.
